You won't qualify for home health care services if you need more than part-time or intermittent specialized care. You can leave home for medical treatment or brief, infrequent absences for non-medical reasons, such as attending church services. You can still get home health care if you attend a day care center for adults. There is no limit to the amount Medicare pays for medically necessary outpatient therapy services in a calendar year.
